[BBC News] Cold remedies 'pose driving risk'

There was a story in the local news a few years back where an ADVOCATE was let off a drug driving charge after being caught trying to put petrol in the boot of her car at a filling station. She thought it was her filler cap she was using and blamed the Diazepam tablets she was taking at the time. From memory, her defence got an 'expert witness' to argue that she was not made sufficiently aware of the risk of drowsiness from these Valium tablets she was taking, and got off the charge!

Tiredness, mobile phones, chatting to a passenger and hunger are also impairing factors that may be more dangerous than cold remedies...
