still waters
Just been speaking to one of the cox`s of the boat races and he said that the races are on the same day as the parish walk. So now we have a new endurance race walk 32 miles to peel jump in a viking boat row across peel bay drink your own body weight in cider then stagger home . Minxie
That's a bit unfortunate if they are on the same day.

Gags
What - surely not on the same day??? Who the hell organises these events?? Are the tin bath races also on the same day as they have been previously?? At least you dont have to pay to walk on public roads during the viking boat races! At least you dont have to pay to walk on public roads during the viking boat races!.its all down to time and tide thats the only tide sutible on a sat all summer. The committees of the tin baths and the boat races do work together but every now and then nature causes a clash. it would not be a problem if the Viking longboat committee had the balls to ask local boat to owners shift there toys to the side of the harbour so the races can be held in the inner harbour .
