Here it is http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4476721n But here's the foreign policy interview.... Alias
Say it ain’t so, Joe! There you go pointing backwards again ... Now, doggone it, let’s look ahead and tell Americans what we have to plan to do for them in the future. You mentioned education, and I’m glad you did. I know education you are passionate about with your wife being a teacher for 30 years, and God bless her. Her reward is in heaven, right
Amadeus
The fun continues Seven Palin Aides Will Honor Subpoenas in 'Troopergate' Probe Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Seven aides of Governor Sarah Palin have agreed to cooperate with an investigation into her firing of the state police chief after unsuccessfully fighting subpoenas to testify in the probe. In slip up, Palin calls Afghanistan “our neighboring country” SAN FRANCISCO - Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin called Afghanistan “our neighboring country” on Sunday in a speech that could revive questions over her tendency to stumble into linguistic knots. Three days after a mostly gaffe-free debate performance, the Alaska governor fumbled during a speech in which she praised U.S. soldiers for “fighting terrorism and protecting us and our democratic values”. “They are also building schools for the Afghan children so that there is hope and opportunity in our neighboring country of Afghanistan,” she told several hundred supporters at a fundraising event in San Francisco. Amadeus
Yes We Can - the Obama music video Unless McCain't finds a whole stash of Obama goat porn, I'd say this is over. Dems have all the young voters now, have won new voter registrations while reps have lost loads in crucial states - even with the 'US of Everything Is Possible' factor, I hereby declare Obama the winner. Christ, I went 3/1 for McWarhero now, bigger than betfair and biggest price anywhere on the market, and not even the arbers are stupid enough to take it - over, done, dusted. DjDan
Should have picked Mitt Romney. In fact... if Mitt Romney had been the presidential candidate... Obama wouldn't stand a chance. Evangelicals will reap what they have sowed.
Mutley
Should have picked Mitt Romney. In fact... if Mitt Romney had been the presidential candidate... Obama wouldn't stand a chance. Really? "Religion played a major role in the 2008 presidential campaign, with polls indicating that a quarter of Republican voters were “less likely” to vote for a presidential candidate who was a Latter-day Saint" Source Wikipedia. DjDan
Religious Bigotry is stronger than racial discrimination in America at the moment. All this talk of a "Black President"... a bigger shock would have been a "Mormon President". That's for sure. BUT - despite that, Mitt Romney would beat Obama hands down. What's the #1 issue in America at the moment? ----> Economy. Romney vs Obama is no contest on that one. Romney would have won for sure. The ONE thing that stopped him was religious discrimination.
