It's clear that Obama is the better candidate - better educated, highly intelligent, well informed, a tremendous communicator. And not saddled by a Barbie doll as VP.

So watch America vote for McCain.

So so true in many ways. But what do you expect from a country that is actually still having a debate on inteligent design and if it should be taught in science class. America, for all its achievments and advancements, still suffers from chronic stupidity when it comes to simple matters like "What is actually science?", "Is this person running for president a complete moron?", "Should I eat that 23rd cheeseburger?"

Obama is obviously the better candidate, he's not 3 weeks away from his average life expectancy, he seems to have a mind of his own and a view on the world that has not been twisted by fear of terrorism. But people are still going to vote for McCain because of some very simple reasons. I've seen countless videos of McCain supporters saying that they dont trust Obama because "He's a muslim, and I dont want a muslim running this country." Yes, Barack Obama, that mystical christian muslim fellow. It just goes to show how little value people in America put on things like inteligence and fact, they'd rather have a president who bases his foriegn policy on what god tells him to do and his domestic policies on articles he's read in books titled "10 things to screw up your country - By Joseph Stalin"

Colin Powell has just given Obama his support.

If McCain wins, then what hope is there for the democrats ever again?

The Democrats have to do what the Tories have to do over here - convince stupid people that it was the incumbent chief who was responsible for the housing bubble and for defective regulation.

AP: Palin children may have traveled on state

ANCHORAGE (AP) — Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.

The charges included costs for hotel and commercial flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.

In all, Palin has charged the state $21,012 for her three daughters' 64 one-way and 12 round-trip commercial flights since she took office in December 2006. In some other cases, she has charged the state for hotel rooms for the girls.

Nice to see the Reps are setting priorities:

Palin stylist draws higher pay than policy adviser

WASHINGTON (AP) — An acclaimed celebrity makeup artist for Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin collected more money from John McCain's campaign than his foreign policy adviser. Amy Strozzi, who works on the reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" and has been Palin's traveling stylist, was paid $22,800, according to campaign finance reports for the first two weeks in October. In contrast, McCain's foreign policy adviser, Randy Scheunemann, was paid $12,500, the report showed.

Quite right.

When the shit really hits the fan and you haven't got a clue what to do because you've spent your entire political life in a snow covered wal mart, it is very important to look well groomed.

What she really needs is a Dave Cameron fluorescent bicycling jacket.

As a hockey mum perhaps she should consider wearing a goalkeepers mask as well.

Aim for a green Jason Voorhees look - winner!

Heard at a gun show: "..Obama can burn in hayell.."

They're sure trying:

White supremacists 'plotted to assassinate Barack Obama in top hats and tails'

The white supremacists, who met online, planned to carry out the massacre dressed in white top hats and tails, according to documents released by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. They intended to kill Mr Obama by driving at him at full speed and firing from their vehicle.

US government agents said they thwarted the plan to kill the White House front-runner and shoot or decapitate 102 black people.

A gay looking 'white supremacist', yesterday:

So what does that make the present incumbent - Bush?

Risky double plus?
