looks still pretty stiff wind in the morning, up to 40mph westerly reducing slowly during the day, looks like the front will only have just gone through by mid day

maybe a lull in the wind on wedneday but wind and rain for the end of the week

not looking good for sailing :(

I would phone before you leave home in the morning to see if there's any change

I think the prediction for wednesday morning may be a bit o.t.t. but showing 49.8mph wind at 3am, (it has reduced on the latest data as it showed 64mph earlier !)

... but that's just a breeze to us :)

(edit - added source)

update, - if you have anything loose in the garden get it tied down today, forecasting 60mph wind (+ gusts ?) 3am, and the spco now say :

What is going on with this wacky weather?

Coming home after work about 1 hour ago and the weather was blowing a gale and bouncing down now i pop my head out the door and there is not a breath of wind and no rain!

Are we in the eye of the storm?!
