RedFerret
When they finish Governers Hill, will they start work on the stretch of Peel Road, Douglas, between circular road heading down towards McDonalds? That whole section is like a massive rumble strip, car shakes all the way, think its self detructing my car!

It should be a set requirement that before Tynwald approve more money for more road works they make the DOT finish the bollocks ups they have created elsewhere. Braddan Bridge is still a total mess, and now they'll just move on to Governors Bridge and create more carnage. The road system is a complete joke. Skig
Anyone know if its just the new road from the Nook to Gov.bridge, or are they going ahead with the bypass road from the top of Victoria road as well ?
Sheriff Buford T. Justice
They'll go for whichever is the most pointless and expensive so they can tell you that they've invested X amount on road safety etc.
Fossils
Can anyone confirm that this latest scheme was invented because a DoT low loader got stuck on the corner?
Silentbob
No, this scheme was invented because the DoT have too much money, and too many staff sat around waiting for retirement.
Ushtey
Does anyone know if they have changed the original plans at all or if they just spent longer lobbying before resubmitting them?
