The worst thing about 'asbos' is that they chose an acronym that can be pronounced as a word.

Isn't the whole point of acronyms that they can be pronounced as words?

Bring back the birch, I say. That'd sort the buggars out. If they don't like it, there's a boat in the morning......

In most circumstances I would agree, but in the case of the Asbo I think it is counter-productive.

Had they chosen, say, Counter Social Restriction Document, or something else that only used consonants, I reckon they would be a lot more effective.

Perhaps "Complete, Utterly Naughty Tyrrant" would be better.

I agree though, bring back the birch.

I thought he was from Pulrose ?

No, he stayed clear of his home patch - just went to Pully to stone the motors.

Wonder what he'll think in a couple of years time when he has a motor of his own and someone chucks a brick through his windscreen?
