mollag
From the Guardian CIA Blames Extremist for Bhutto Killing Friday January 18, 2008 5:01 PM By PAMELA HESS Associated Press Writer WASHINGTON (AP) - The CIA has concluded that a Pakistani tribal leader's network was behind the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, according to a U.S. intelligence official. The tribal leader, Baitullah Mehsud, is an extremist with strong ties to al-Qaida and an alliance with the Taliban. He heads up a network in South Waziristan, a lawless border region abutting Afghanistan. He has been blamed for an organized campaign of assassinations of Pakistani officials and suicide bombings in the country. no big surpises here then, of course the USA depts are moraly well above the likes of Bin Laden, they would never stoop to assasination to further thei political aims. Pat Ayres
WASHINGTON (AP) - The CIA has concluded (can't see why not) that a Pakistani tribal leader's network was behind (thought out loud)the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, according to a U.S. intelligence official (cleaner in charge at the white house). The tribal leader (with possible as many as a dozen members), Baitullah Mehsud, is an extremist (has different opinions than GWB)with strong ties to al-Qaida (same colour as the rest) and an alliance with the Taliban (second cousin once removed was seen in the same cafe as a member). He heads up a network (loosely connected group of individuals)in South Waziristan (made up name), a lawless (we aren't in control of it)border region (large area)abutting (next door to but not actually in)Afghanistan. He has been blamed (could be him)for an organized campaign of assassinations of Pakistani officials and suicide bombings in the country. Must be true then if CIA (c**ts in america) say so. La_Dolce_Vita
no big surpises here then, of course the USA depts are moraly well above the likes of Bin Laden, they would never stoop to assasination to further thei political aims. By this are you implying that the CIA or another US organisation could have arranged the assassination. I very much doubt that. It wouldn't have been in America's interests to kill Bhutto.
