I hope so too, I remember thinking san andreas was the mutts nuts when it first came out so hopefully this one won't disappoint either! Although i've read no planes in this one, shame I like flying near ish where i wanted to be and bailing out! I believe they left the planes out due to the sensitivity of NYC and 9/11... I have no idea why you would want to but I remember being a bit disappointed that you couldn't drive the big ships in SA!
