zephyr
From the modern to the old. The shop used to sell mobile phones didn't it? I'll take a site if it sells old fashioned cough drops. or maybe 'Spangles'
Cret
Don't think they sell spangles but don't quote me. Plenty of tasty alternatives though. Chocolate coated cinder toffee (poor man's crunchie) - Mmmm!

GSXRwidow
Where in Castletown is it? My wife grew up in Arbory Road/Street whatever and always remembers fondly an old sweet shop in the same road near the main square in the early 70s which had a 'penny tray'. And they made homemade ice cream which she says has never been matched - when the folk who ran it retired they took their recipe with them. Hi Mij It's on Abrory Street oppisite the Union, behind Maleys chemist. It's an ace shop and I'd bet if the lady doesn't have what you want she'll get it in for you. Throught the diet out the window before it even started!!!!
