Up for grabs is my lovely Mk1 Escort, a proper head turner that looks and sounds awsome. Car isn't currently taxed but it is MOT'd until 9th May 2008. Still on English Reg. If you need any more info or want to ask any questions just let me know. Looking for £4200 Spec: Body Work: 1100 base shell in daytona yellow, very solid. Wax protected from new. Front and rear arches have been rolled Engine: 1600 x-flow - new fuel pump, water pump, radiator and Bestek electronic ingition. Engine has done about 7000 miles since rebuild. Pipercross air filter 32/36 Twin choke Webber carb Ashley 4 branch manifold 2" leading to an Ashley 2" exhaust system Gearbox: 1600 gearbox Capri gear shift Steering and suspension: Brand new steering rack Capri 2.8 front legs Spax adjustable rear shocks Lowering blocks on rear 2" Rear single leaf springs Brakes: M16 callipers Front braided brake hoses Standard drums on rear Wheels and Tyres: 4 Spoke black Revolutions 185/60 R13 tyres Bridgestones on rear Interior: Twin dial dash Mountney steering wheel and boss Temp gauge Original interior otherwise Also comes with: Electric front mounted radiator fan (removed due to fixing overheating problem) Filter King fuel pressure Regulator Princess 4 pot calipers in need of rebuilding/refurbishment Drilled discs Bad points: Body work needs a damn good T-Cut There is a scratch and rub mark on the rear that will need touching up. snakebite Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 theres 1 on manx net sounds like it need some work but ideal project here add For sale is my ford escort, it needs small patches of welding otherwise pretty solid, Interior has been taken out as has the doors and most engine parts as they are completely useless. Comes with 4 fibreglass rally arches and fibreglass bonnet.
