slinkydevil
Website of Man fails on quality and innovation for me. Maybe a good idea, but at least get something up that works and reflects what you are trying to achieve, before you make a press release. http://www.websiteofman.co.uk "ANYBODY wishing to recognise the quality or innovation of a Manx website will be able to do so through the Website of Man." http://www.iomtoday.co.im/isle-of-man-busi...n-to.3712759.jp

GD4ELI
FWIW I am a convert to DotNetNuke. My webdesign skills are rotten, very rotten, but with DotNetNuke's framework something 'reasonable' can be acheived even by an fool such as myself. ans
Is it just me or is the website horribly broken with scrolling side bars and hidden links in the wrong place of the image map. Nothing seems to actually work. Not only that, it's using Frames (!) and a single 250k image that's squashed vertically. Has this guy never heard of CSS or something? It's hideous and non functional. ans
Maybe it's just me again, but I'd make sure it was finished before I'd contact the press.
mannin
It may be a 'work in progress'. Then maybe they should not be touting it to the press for us all to see in it's unfinished 'glory' then comment on the ridiculousness of it.
bluemonday
I looked the day the press release came out. Made I Laugh it did. Impressed not. Maybe it's just me again, but I'd make sure it was finished before I'd contact the press. Agreed, if you're doing a press release, good idea to have something reasonable to look at, not that. GD4ELI, your site looks ok. Website of Man fails on quality and innovation for me. Maybe a good idea, but at least get something up that works and reflects what you are trying to achieve, before you make a press release. Exactly. The Old Git
I think any Manx website that has a co.uk address is crap from the word go. This one is exceeding so. Wonder if they're related to Ali Bancroft on these forums? Edit - looking at the registration details it seems like they are. Sorry Ali, but it's a horrible mess of a website
