spock
There is a high profile IOM business which you can Google under the word "Equiom". Is this the one and the same as Equiom Limited that has been noticed in the IOM Examiner this week on page 29 - that it is In Members Voluntary Liquidation? If it is the same, then what's happening to the jobs - sorry for anyone out of a job at this time of year. This is also what the Registry web-site says:- Isle of Man Company Details Company Name EQUIOM LIMITED Company Number 094650C Company Type PRIVATE, LIMITED BY SHARES Registered Office First Floor Jubilee Buildings Victoria Street Douglas IM1 2SH Date of Incorporation 16/02/1999 Presence of Charges N Status LIVE Previous Names Name Type AIT Limited PREVIOUS Liquidators/receivers appointed Date Liquidation Commenced 03/12/2007 Date Appointed 03/12/2007 Liquidator/Receiver Name MAXINE ANN MAYHEW Address JUBILEE BUILDINGS VICTORIA STREET DOUGLAS Status MEMBERS LIQUIDATOR
TerryMcCann
It happens all the time. It will simply be a result of a group restructure or dissolution of a dormant company
copycat
Boredom - leads to un-fathomed conspiracy theory and confusion over this person now present and others also present from elsewhere. But who am I to upset someone being happy in your own realm.

The force is strong with Equiom. Now do like you said MCB/Copycat/Spock and fuck off at warp speed.
gilf_uk
The answer to this question is no. Equiom Limited is not the same Equiom that comes up when you type in google. That would be Equiom Trust Company Limited. But when let the facts get in the way of a post, eh?
Gladys
A Members' Voluntary Liquidation is a solvent liquidation, so more than likely a re-structuring. There are two options when a company has no further function and is not insolvent, either liquidate it or apply for it to be dissolved by the Registrar. The first is a more formal and complete procedure, whereas the second can be reversed. So if you want a neat, tidy and final termination of a company, then the liquidation route is the preferable. More costly, but neater.
