manshimajin
It has been great to see the music 'establishment' in Ireland go into outrage mode over this song. Eurovision is a once a year serious chance for them to make some money.... When the selection process for the Irish song was televised on RTE it turned out that a goodly percentage of them either came from Central Europe or were being sung by someone from there. It would seem that the Dana's of this world would rather have a Czech or Slovakian song represent Ireland than a turkey - after all the Eurovision is one of the most important annual cultural events... isn't it???? One mustn't make light of it. Good on Dustin - and if Shaun can make it for the IoM there could be a useful cross-transfer of votes.
