nipper
I added this to the thread in the Sport section but thought it worthy of the Local News too. Isle of Man Newspapers Report and MP3 Recording
Declan
For a tape to go out to Germany and come back to Germany all within five days – you just felt as if you were part of it. Amazing to think that it would take about 5 seconds to send a video message now.
spock
what would you pay for it on e-Bay?
mojomonkey
what would you pay for it on e-Bay? Personally nothing as it doesn't interest me but I'm sure there will a market for it.
hboy
Its nice that he wants to donate it to the ManU museum and not flog it. People less scrupulous would bung it to Sotherby's and spend the cash. He's gone up in my eyes a great deal. In stating this I assume he's Roy (Mannin Line) Gough? nipper
Aye the very same Roy. I met him a few months ago outside the House of Keys and he is a sound guy, there is a solid basis to what he speaks about on the Mannin Line (as opposed to some that phone up with just a load of guff and hot air opinion). And yeah, good of him to donate the tape to the Manchester United Museum.

nipper
Walter Cowl had his shop there. Was that before or after? Peter Duke used to be a photographer for the shop.
