thebees
Steven would probably do a better job.
Declan
Is this the same Dr Dick Horsnell who was Kilroy's campaign manager? Do we know who nominated him.
bluemonday
Members of the House of Keys (MHKs) will vote in the candidates. As the public are not allowed to. Democracy my f*cking arse.
sarahc
Members of the House of Keys (MHKs) will vote in the candidates. As the public are not allowed to. Democracy my f*cking arse. But we do vote for the MHKs. So it's democracy, albeit once removed. Why not lobby your MHK to vote for your favourite?
bluemonday
Fair point. edit to add. Have emailed him and requested an acknowledgment........
lisner
But we do vote for the MHKs. So it's democracy, albeit once removed. More like twice removed although some would say totally removed as it is a secret ballot and there is no way of knowing who votes for who. It is well worth contacting any or all MHKs, not necessarily your own. This is not a constituency matter.
Freggyragh
Why did anyone propose a UKIPper? If we have to have politicians who have been completely rejected in their own country I'd prefer someone colourful like David Icke or the late Screaming Lord Sutch. Rhumsaa
Yeah what's the deal with having some EU person standing for our government structure? seems odd
Celt
Clare Cristian and Pam Crowe should be taken out at dawn and shot imo. With thenm being there, we're still having the Kerruish , everyone for themselves, mentality. He was a rogue and they fecking knighted him. Same as the knob from the crossroads. Declan
He lives here. Presumably, he was felt so strongly about the EU he moved here to escape it. Didn't stop him standing in the 2005 British General Election though. I would be very interested to know which MHK thought a Little Englander, was an appropriate candidate for a seat in the Manx Parliament.
cheeky boy
Is this the same Dr Dick Horsnell who was Kilroy's campaign manager? Do we know who nominated him. Have run across him before and would like to confirm that he is a pompous middle class twat who has landed here and decided to show us how it should be done We have suffered the likes of him for generations and my advice would be to give him a wide berth On the off-chance that your reading this Dick, shut up, join a golf club, enjoy the short time you have left here on Earth and leave us alone you comeover busybody wanker If you don't like the way we do things here, why did you move here in the first place? Celt
pompous middle class twat Should fit in as an MLC then. Just what they're looking for. Could even give Waft, Gordon Howarths son-in-law, a run for his money. What a useless git he is. Please refer to the above.
Cronky
If you don't like the way we do things here, why did you move here in the first place? He probably loves the way things are done here but doesn't want the Isle of Man to follow the UK down the pan . . .
