If you don't like the way we do things here, why did you move here in the first place?

He probably loves the way things are done here but doesn't want the Isle of Man to follow the UK down the pan . . .

If he's an aged UKIPer, 'down the pan' probably means 'no longer able to discipline his wife in public or refer to black people as "Wild Men from Borneo"'

I would be very interested to know which MHK thought a Little Englander, was an appropriate candidate for a seat in the Manx Parliament.

Each candidate will have been nominated by an MHK who will give reasons to the House of Keys as to why that person has been nominated. There will also need to be a seconder.

Incidentally, if the person is an existing MHK they should in theory gain at least 3 votes. It is not unknown however, for a candidate to receive just one vote.

Aye, if you want to give someone a good kicking, nominate them, give them a glowing report in the House of Keys and then don't bother to vote for them :D

Is this the same Dr Dick Horsnell who was Kilroy's campaign manager?

Do we know who nominated him.

What the Land of Our Birth needs right now is a right wing fasciti, xenophobic Little Englander.

You know it makes sense.

Who in their right mind would nominate such a person?
