Someone's done their balls on that one, for sure... Absolutely. I thought that when someone told me what it cost to install. At £5 a wash that's about 500,000 washes before you've even got your stake back. It's the Mathemagician! Bizarrely he's probably about right taking into consideration all the running costs involved along the way to re-couping your original stake. Staff, Land Rent, chemicals, advertising, insurance etc. Hell, even the interst on £ 1,000,000 would equate to about 12,000 washs per year. Even if we scale it down to 300,000 washes...thats about 300 washes a day for a full three years ie 37 or so every HOUR. Someone got stiffed, for sure... ...GOMH*... I assume all the mechanical stuff could be salvaged and nailed down somewhere more useful. Sheesh - I'd bid a couple of grand and run it myself if the price was right!
