Mission Posted November 26, 2004 Share Posted November 26, 2004 Isn't there a deep trench off the island where they've dumped munitions? I know there is one off the Channel Island of Alderney. At the end of the second world war, a lot of the guns from the coastal batteries on the Channel Islands were simply pushed over the cliffs and can still be seen on the rocks below at low tide to this day.
