First we'll need to examine your policies - what's your stance on:

- The beer price:

- Dog turds (white or otherwise):

- Bylaw Enforcement Officers:

- Traffic Wardens and parking:

- Public transport (integrated transport policy - yes/no/how):

- Sustainability:

- Environment:

- Neighbourhood safety and policing:

- Youth policies:

- Government spending:

- Use of ratepayers money:

- Housing policies:

- Will you call yourself "leader" at some point in your career?

You still need the majority of the votes cast.

In Tynwald you need a proposer and a seconder, 1/12 of the electorate.

In Ramsey, for instance, you need one proposer, one seconder and 10 attestors. 1/250 of the electorate.

So to become an MLC you need 20 times as much support just to be nominated

Not so easy.
