Pat Ayres
Town hall has a copy for your perusal, or try on-line at the gov site, should be on there. If you catch a candidate he/she will have a copy.

thesultanofsheight
Can someone answer me this. If you want to stand for MLC you need the signature of only one proposer. If you want to stand for a local authority and not get paid for anything you need at least 11 signatures. Who the hell drew those rules up? Pat Ayres
You still need the majority of the votes cast. In Tynwald you need a proposer and a seconder, 1/12 of the electorate. In Ramsey, for instance, you need one proposer, one seconder and 10 attestors. 1/250 of the electorate. So to become an MLC you need 20 times as much support just to be nominated Not so easy.
