Local Elections

On Manx Radio this morning Allan Bell, MHK Ramsey, said it was healthy for democracy that there were so many people putting themselves up for election in Ramsey.

 

This election thing really is a win win situation isn't it. I realise that most people couldn't give a toss about it either way which is why I wonder Manx Radio has to keep trying to make News of it somehow.

 

I was whinging about this to someone who gave me the best tip ever - switch over to 3fm. No fawning and sucking to the people who pay you half your wages like Manx Radio do.

 

I listened for half the day and it was like a breath of fresh air. No political guff interviews, no Talking Heads scare mongering.

 

Just music and news. Proper News.
