Glad they kept the white hat, we had them in Brighton when I was a youth, look quite cool in summer, plus you can see them coming a mile off at night. I remember in the 80's when they used to change to the black hats of an evening. One night I mentioned it quite vocally whilst waiting outside Polly's after the Lido.
