sideways
As an advertiser in the motormann part of the magazine I have just been informed that issue29 Dec1 is the last issue. So you can look at it in two ways , less junk through your letter box or nowhere else to go but the papers to advertise. I know the way I look at it but that is my opinion. What do you think? sideways
Thats fair enough that you don`t want it , but we are now back to just one advertising medium again.
The Old Git
I assume that not many people wanted it so how effective was it to advertise in it?
TheTool
Its a shame really because it was a bit like autotrader, nevermind a well advertised website would be more effective. the cost of printing it is the problem a website is far easier to maintain and less costs. sirdick
I looked at it about once, it didn't cover what I was look for, so I'll just stick to the Courier. I wasn't opposed to it, but I'm not going to miss it.
Fatty Fatty Toad Boy
It's a shame that something like Mann Weekly failed. It's very expensive to advertise in one (or more) of the 3 papers and without any suitable competition it's not going to get any cheaper.

The advertising is much cheaper with Mann Weekly.
Broadcaster
The advertising is much cheaper with Mann Weekly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's exectly why it's failed, it was offering advertising rates to cheap.
Slim
The mannin media stuff (manx tails and job thingy) are still around I presume, at least they offer some alternative to the paper? I'm quite glad it's finished. I've got some flats in town where we get seven copies a week, it's a right pain in the bot having to dump em. Tee
Such a shame that this mighty fine publication has now came to an end, the times I've sat here at home waiting for it to appear through the letter box you could count on one hand. least there one tree saved anyways.
