Frances Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 fastest is method is not to drink - three or four days should see the end, no food can take a couple of weeks at least usually much longer (Bobby Sands lasted 66 days) though I believe fatal kidney/liver damage is normally done before they expire - not the most pleasant way to go. Usually well before this the authorities have obtained a force feeding order unless his next of kin are in full agreement with the death wish.
