Did the car driver fail to say "hello" to the fairies?
Excellent :D I was told when I was young that the steering wheel would come off in your hands if you didn't say hello to the fairies. Must be true then....

From earlier today. HGV turns corner, car tries to stand ground, HGV wins.

i would say it was 50/50

did he hit the car, cause if he diden he lost

if u look at the top right hand side of the cab u can see the trailer has come forward and hit the back of the cab,

so thats a nice write off there,

thats why thay havent moved it out of the way cause the trailer is on the cab

Seems a waste of time to carry a trailer around on the back of a trailer anyway.

It's like putting on two pairs of shoes.

well not really,

cause u only have one trip to pick them up, so saveing in time and fuel,

plus u only have to pay for the price off one trailer on the bost when there stacked like that

Actually, IU think the Pirates managed to overturn that ruling, and charge more for trailers with trailers on now. Really, why charge for just floor space used when you can charge ppl for the air above it as well and get away with it ;)

hope you said good morning :)

You bloody well believe I did... :zorro:

Don't think the trailer really hit the cab tbh - I'm sure I saw the whole rig pull into the industrial estate later, so he must have gotten away with it. The car looked a bit damaged, though..

Due to the fact the trailer has touched the unit it would render it impossible to turn the corner in the normal manner. The piggy back trailer would need shifting rearwards to allow the articulation of the unit. The straps were not exerting enough restraint to be on the road really, it must be able to hold 100% of the load in that position. Lack of a strap in this instance is an offense of 'loose or unsafe load' Yes the Steamie got wise about piggy backs some time ago, robbing bastards/capitalists.
