Mission
On the Niarbyl image - was that totally stock without editing? Oh and Last 10 - have we actually seen anything from you yet?
slinkydevil
The Niarbyl picture I put some burn (ps) on the clouds to make them more dramatic. Derbyhaven was left alone. It depends on the picture but I like a bit of Post production - it's part of my job I guess too!
Mission
Cool, so you were pretty lucky to get those two gulls the way you did then. Nice one.
slinkydevil
Oh yeah luck is another big part of photography - even just being in the right place when the lighting is awesome. Oh and there's about 10 in that series, just happened the gulls in that one were in the right place!
Mission
I guess that's where it pays to take more than one shot - something I never do - I'll have to make sure I change that from now on.
Amadeus
Sorry, to me a camera is just a simple black box with piece of expensive glass strapped to the front used to record what my eye is seeing. Brands and lens types don't real interest me What he said.. From earlier today - had to try it first

Slim
Had a similar discussion the other day, which boiled down to 'The camera you have with you takes better pics than the one you dont'. I could really do with a better camera, mine is a 70 quid from boots job, but I'm not sure I'd lug anything better around with me. Here's a snap from Peel Beach. Brad_Naylor
These were taken over Christmas, my son borrowed my newly aquired Nokia N95 (thanks Nathan Wind) and this was the result, there are a few more but these stood out for me.
