Albert Tatlock
From the BBC: Councils warned over spying laws "Councils in England have been urged to review the way they use surveillance powers to investigate suspected crime. Under laws brought in to help fight terrorism, councils can access phone and e-mail records and use surveillance to detect or stop a criminal offence. But Local Government Association chairman Sir Simon Milton has written to councils warning overzealous use of the powers could alienate the public." thesultanofsheight
Using anti terror legislation to snoop on ratepayers! That's typical of the sad little Hitler types who sit on local councils. Usually they're a bunch of crooked nosey bastards who'll happily fine you for throwing away the wrong flavour crisp packets but don't see why they themselves can't totally abuse their positions of trust.
