pornmonkey
Decided to bite the bullet and sell the camper as I no longer have access to the facilities or time to do it up myself, going to get one that has already been restored so I can have fun this summer. 1975 VW Bay camper Brought over from England, has 11 months English MOT 2 Litre Engine and brakes etc all sound and run well. Tyres are all good and they are on Porsche wheels Interior has a fridge hob grill sink electrics the previous owner had a propex heater fitted at a cost of over £400, the interior is functional and tidy, someone has spent a considerable amount of time on it. The front seats are immaculate leather seats possibly Saab seats and the cab floor is also immaculate. I have bought two brand new cab doors and seals for it that need fitting and I have a brand new skylight to fit (the old one doesn’t open). It needs some welding on the back of the chassis and it will need two new corner panels and a rear valance fitted (these have been priced at £26.50 per corner panel and £19.95 for the rear valance on http://www.vwheritage.com/ The rest can be fixed with a bit of fibreglassing and filler. I have started work on it sanding and filling here and there and have exposed all the rusty areas that need attention but I just don’t have time to do it all. £2,600 for the lot.
