Fucking idiots!

Agree. But how blind was the driver of the car that he/she couldn't see a garden bench in the middle of the road and stop before they hit it!! Perhaps driving too fast?

Or perhaps at 2.15 generally it is dark and no street lights! garden furniture doesn't have a hi-viz garment on it and i suppose they should of thought on and remembered to avoid that everyday obstacle you expect to find in the middle of the road...

But of course it was the drivers fault for driving too fast!

At that time of the morning the road is poorly lit. Even at the limit of 30mph, if the driver didn't see the obstruction until the last moment, there was bound to be 'extensive damage.'

Solution: Find the culprits, fasten them securely to a garden bench, place bench in middle of badly-lit road in the early hours of the morning.

It would be quite a shock to find a bench in the middle of the road at that time (at any time really)

Handy though if you needed to sit down and compose yourself after the shock
