So Bellis and the road race are on from 4am on Saturday (its on BBC interactive until 10.30ish I think). And the Madison will be around 10.30am on Tuesday 19th... http://www.iomtoday.co.im/news/Mark-Cavend...-the.4353578.jp Still nothing firm about whether Cav will race in the 4000m individual pursuit a few days earlier though. I read somewhere they wont make the decision whether its him or Geraint Thomas until 24 hours before the race. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympics/cycling/7524460.stm

ponderer
Does anybody know whether if Bellis or Cav win a medal at the Olympics that would be the first manx person ever to win an Olympic medal? Quite a number of the nations participating have never ever won a medal.... One of them (cant remember which one) even had a national holiday when one of their boxers won a silver! And, for Albert, no I have no follicle interest in Cav's legs! Just want to see a world class manx sports personality properly recognised on the island. In any case, they now have 'revolutionary new skin suits' for those interested in such matters..! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/otherspor...ympic-gold.html
