Pig Destroyer
The police are fully cracking down now, sorting out the heroin problem on the Island, which is only a good thing, really.

immortalpuppet
We should just leave them alone to carry out their illegal activities.
Lonan3
Do the trouble you pig? the heroin addicts? If they don't do anything illegal to fund it - such as thieving, or encouraging others to become addicted to their vile habits - then, no, they don't trouble me at all They can go on pumping the stuff into their blood stream as much as they like until they either overdose or are killed by some of the shit that's added to it. But who pays for the funeral?.
immortalpuppet
Shoplifters dont bother me because i dont have a shop, but in the grand scheme of things they are still breaking the law and if they get caught so be it. Just the same with smackheads, except they are funding the big dealers who are into everything from prostitute slaves to monkey porn which is not nice at all. Pig Destroyer
Yeah, that too, and I know someone who died of a heroin overdose. I wasn't that good mates with him, but still, imagine how his family must of felt.. So, getting rid of it can only be a good thing, IMO. Why, do you want them to have shit for blood? thebees
I dont want to play top trumps over friends dying of drug overdoses but, if we did I would win. That is part of the reason I feel the current legal situation is useless, prohibition has not worked and some may think heroin addicts lives are worthless, I don’t. The government has double standards over the legal status of substances - alcohol is a miserable and addictive drug, as is nicotine, you can buy them in the shops so I don’t see the argument for having other drugs illegal - if people are stupid enough to get addicted to anything, it really is their look out. All the police time, the prison spaces taken up by drug people and a drug tzar that spends half her time at conferences talking about how best to sort out the drug problems & the other half setting up conferences - meanwhile back in the real world people are drinking themselves to death on cider that you could use to clean the brass on a Sunday and using needles to inject themselves with drugs (heroin really should be smoked, needles are for nurses). immortalpuppet
Its never going to change so regardless of what some deluded people might think, Heroin is an illegal drug and if you are silly/weak minded enough to start on that shit in the first place then you are breaking the law and if you get caught, take it on the chin like a big boy/girl.
