thesultanofsheight
What is there to break in to? Its a rusty old hulk of a ship thats just about afloat - maybe it was Scooby Doo looking for clues?
manxy
Any idea why it's still here? You'd have thought that there's nothing more the vessel can tell us, apart from seeing how fast it can corrode and how much money an advocate can still make. Isn't it about time the vessel was laid to rest somewhere and maybe used as an artificial reef?
Roger Smelly
Here here what does it say to the tourists as they come of the boat ? Time that thing was put back where it was, i always feel sorry for the familys when i see that thing it must be like twisting the knife knowing its there. Albert Tatlock
All a bit ghoulish. Whoever's got it it should leave it somewhere obvious to be found, or risk getting hammered if the cops have to investigate it all.
Langweilig
Here here what does it say to the tourists as they come of the boat ? What it said to me was, "What a dreadful eyesore." There's a memorial near the camera obscura. Please get rid of that vessel.
Snaefell050
I think it's terrible that people treat the boat with such disrespect. Seven people died on that boat, at least leave it to rest in peace if they're going to leave it there, still it really shouldn't be there. How long have they been investigating it, at least 6 years? mojomonkey
I understand that its there because it is evidence for the long running case against the owner. I think that if they do need to keep it that they should move it into storage where it cannot be seen (or plundered). Its a sad remember of a tragic event. Onchanguy
Completely disrespectful. Tantamount to grave robbery imho. When they find the perpetrators they should feel the full weight of the law (ie. a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again).
Lee54
The Government pay a Laxey Company about £500 pw to look after the boat and its security, It is also in view from harbour control and its CCTV.
