IMO something like this should be taught in schools - as a means of dealing with manipulation by marketeers, politicians, con-artists and ourselves; learning how susceptible we are to vain brain distortions and being trapped in paradigms. A kind of users guide to the brain. (as an aside - interesting IoM's foundation myth is based on a character who appears as a bit of a supremo in Jedi mind tricks.)
