Maybe Keyboarder could buy one and tackle the dog poo problem on our streets.
Lonan3
Perhaps I'm being obtuse - but why would the DoT own a scooter?
Pat Ayres
Didn't they suggest getting them for traffic wardens at some time?

Stavros
Perhaps I'm being obtuse - but why would the DoT own a scooter? No silly, Scooter works for the DoT, he's not owned by them.

Newsbot
Thousands of pounds are believed to be raised in an auction of government machinery and vehicles in the Isle of Man. thesultanofsheight
What is the purpose of this "announcement"? They are not making thousands of pounds, they are selling stuff that is either old or surplus to requirement at auction. What did government do before this wonderful idea - give the stuff away for free? "The total sum of money raised, which will be ploughed back into government services" oh good I thought they'd just take the cash and burn it on a big bonfire. Stop presenting this irrelevant sh*te as news!!
Pat Ayres
According to my copy of the courier the auction isn't until this weekend, how come the BBC have it in past tense? What are they paying those wankers for, to speculate that an auction might make some money and to present that as news. Lazy journalism and inaccurate reporting, sack them.
