1994 BMW M3 for sale

Avus (dark) blue 2-door coupe

manual 3 litre 286bhp straight six

104,000 miles FSH (mostly BMW) + folder full of receipts + spare key and master key

Full Vader leather interior

18" Schnitzer style alloys (replicas but still cost 800 odd quid)

Full Milltek ss exhaust system (best part of 600-650 quid)

Electric windows/sunroof

Climate control (fairly basic)

Trip computer

Remote central locking

Alarm + immobiliser

Pros

Still a superb drive (engine hasn't missed a beat in the 2 years i've had it) and goes like a scalded cat when you put your foot down

Bodywork - in excellent condition for its age, few stone chips etc which is to be expected. Not a hint of rust/no water leaks (sunroof is still watertight) and no oil leakage at all

Engine bay is immaculate as is the interior (leather in very good condition)

serviced a week ago and taxed till March 2009

Has original BMW toolkit, unopened/sealed first aid kit and torch (apparently this is a selling point?)

Cons

Trip computer often throws up an error message when headlights are turned on initially (it's an irritation nothing more - have to press a button to get rid of it).....possibly something as simple as changing the bulbs could resolve this.

Passenger seat forward folding mechanism doesn't work (i've rigged up a crude wire job but its not ideal - only have passengers in the back once a blue moon anyway so hasn't been a problem)

Tyres rub on the rear arches when there are passengers in the back (again, never have passengers in the back so not a problem - could solve this by getting low/lower profile tyres or having the rear arches rolled slightly (150 quid max/worst case according to guys at Azzy paints) - current tyres still have loads of tread on them so haven't bothered doing anything about it yet).

£5,250ono
