Kentucky Seizes Manx-registered Web Names ?

Got to wonder why they do this for gambling but not child porn or other illegal and exploitative domains. Insane.

Money - what else in the States, local companies make money from gambling, kiddie porn hasn't yet been commercialised except for all-inclusive tours to Thailand etc.

A somewhat sensationalist comment. Much like the Kentuckyians in the OP...

why ? - Gary Glitter wasn't the only Briton bunged up in S.E. Asia for under age sex - on a personal anecdote (and I appreciate the plural of anecdote is not data) whilst I was in hospital visiting my friend I was regaled by a slightly drunk visitor to another patient who described in loud and considerable detail his all-in sex package to Thailand (apparently the Japanese businessman market was also big) tho he did not admit to underage sex as such.

I think the keyword here is commercialised. No-one is pretending it doesn't happen. But nowhere near the scale you're alluding to. No need to propogate the myth, in my opinion, unless you can back it up...

sorry I didn't think to ask him for his travel agent's address - however from his comments he wasn't the only one in the group and I doubt if he organised it himself, and again from his comments there was a lot on offer - if it is very rare then the chance of meeting a customer as a visitor in a stroke ward must be vanishingly small - thus I'm now of the opinion that such tours are more readily available than I once thought - certainly that customer intended to repeat the package in 2009 if he had the money. I had heard from Japenese friends sometime ago that such package deals were on offer there aimed at the businessman market (not one to which my 'informant' belonged).

You were on about "commercialised kiddie-porn". That is WAY different to adult sex-tourism which is not even on the same moral richter scale. And freely available in Amsterdam, Tallinn, Prague, Las Vegas and pretty much anywhere else consenting adults desire.

Stop lumping the two together, eh ?

As for your comment about the chances of meeting a sex tourist (because that is all he was...not some deranged Alan Whicker-esque paedophile) anywhere being "vanishingly small", I'd suggest you must lead a very sheltered life. In which case you're generalising in an area you know bugger all about, hence my original post...
