I love the BBC for its sheer diversity.

The BBC likes to portray itself as some sort of infrangible pillar of broadcasting news. You know, like Charlotte Green sort of thing, reliably reporting news in her impeccable BBC English to the world.

Then we have this sort of local interest shite.

A cat got stuck up a tree.

Only the other night I was watching the BBC and there was a presenter who gets paid £millions of our money per year telling us how when he is having sex with his wife, his dog sometimes tries to join in. Then he informed the nation of how he tried anti-wrinkle cream on his testicle sack.

Cutting edge, pushing the envelope adult entertainment? Maybe in the school yard, but just maybe.

The BBC are either top notch serious broadcasters or the BBC is total utter shite 'n' piffle.

The BBC can't have it both ways.

All it does seem to do very, very well, is make a fortune out of us mugs.

Oh, and how many BBC reporters are stationed on the Isle of Man?
