Ta WSAG Aye, it's covered by warantee so just contact MS and get it shipped back. It's free and you'll get a new dvd drive and motherboard mostly likely so it won't happen again. devil Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 I think you will find MS will fix it and not do what we have been talking about within this post, what we could do is make the xbox last it's life because, with the mod in the videos above it allows flex whereas the provious MS design is flawed and when the board flex's to a certian extent then it causes a bad connection etc etc therefore causing the red ring of death. I thought ms was supposed to have fixed the rrod problem in the elites. useless s0ds. the recorded failure rate is 69%! im surprised the yanks aint been sueing MS like lunatics.
