She thought she would be ok by this weekend, but has been advised that if she even continues to speak for the immediate future she seriously risks long-term damage to her voice. HOWEVER, The Skeletones will still be playing with the more than capable Doc Horror on vocal duties. For those of you who aren't familiar with the band, Doc Horror is the founding and musical force behind the band, and it still promises to be a show not to miss. If anyone feels that they really don't want to see the band without Gen, then a full refund will be issued. In light of these circumstances, the on the door charge of £10 has been reduced to £5, the standard advance ticket price, but this is of course subject to venue capacity. The band issued the following statement a few minutes ago, with an IOM specific one to follow. "We've had to cancel tomorrow nights show at Manchester Ladyfest as Zombina destroyed her throat on the Hell Nights tour... it finally gave up the ghost at 12:00 today. Now she can only whisper. Let's just hope it isn't permanent." Hope to see you on Saturday where Postcode, Poison Hearts and The Skeletones will still deliver a night of Halloween punk rock n roll.
