The committee is expected to recommend involving the Office of Fair Trading in future increases on ticket fares.

Ferry Times?

I thought that would have been one of the minor concerns. Plus, they are not necesarily up for negotiation due to other port restrictions. Plus if you want three trips a day on the fastcraft, the times kind of look after themselves, essentially first thing, mid afternoon and a late one.

Plus if you ask 20 people, you'll get 12 different answers. That's a shit load of boats you'll need.

Also - fares? Again, they've come down significantly in real terms.

I would have though the key concerns were reliability, freight charges, communication and standards of service.

A committee looking at how the Steam Packet Company is run is to consult the public about ferry times.

Does this mean that Mark Woodward's blog is not enough???? ;)
