thesultanofsheight
It's far more likely that B&B have outsourced their printing and the print shop made a horlicks of it... Or more likely now its owned by the UK taxpayer they were too busy trawling through the data in the UK to find UK residents dodging tax offshore that they didn't notice the error
Onchanguy
Actually I think this one is simply a computer error Computers don't make errors - it's the people programming them and using them who make the errors. Yes I know that. But we never get to find out who actually did the programming and if you do happen to drill down then they just say "hey, well it must have been a virus" or the one they said to me last time was "....don't ask me why it did it, ask Bill Gates". Perhaps then it was Mr Nobody's fault. ie just 'the computer'. But let's not forget. We live in a no-blame culture where no-one takes responsibility for anything. You can't apportion blame to someone as they will feel worthless and have to have months off work with stress and probably need counselling and most likely suffer flashbacks and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for being told they are in the wrong. Does anyone outsource printing for a mailshot or even routine database shot? Its about data management now, not hot press.
