ans
Thought I'd quickly sign up and say I know one of the folks on the list (work with them). They're angry about the leak - they don't blame New Labour bla bla bla as the Mail, BBC etc are saying, but blame BNP and subsequently asked for they're membership to be withdrawn. Yeah. Your 'friend'. Right. Gotcha.

The Old Git
The inevitable has started: I hope not. I know that our elderly accountant no longer lives at the address listed and I'd hate to see anyone attacked because of info on that list. Anyone reposting it could always add a few more names of people they didn't like and had a grudge against.
Alan Partridge
According to the BNP leader on Radio 2 news, the leak came fom a former hardline member dissatisfied by the party's new moderate stance?
Skeddan
To put into some perspective, in IoM the proportion of the population who are members of BNP is lower than the proportion of the population in the UK who are members of the Monster Raving Loony Party. Slim
Worse, if someone does get beaten up by a gang, thus increasing bnp's sympathy. I'm not sure what to make of it, but noticed there's one manx guy who's on his companies website in a photo montage, his is the picture to the far right.... Skeddan
Nick Griffin did confirm the list was largely accurate but gave himself a get-out clause. He said some non-members' names had been added to create mischief. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7737651.stm Be careful - it is a 'purported' list of members. Mind the mischief. ans
I read that as his attempt to fog the issue by introducing uncertainty and giving people plausible deniability if asked.
