Moghrey Mie
I thought there was going to be an independent statement about the Archallaghan, Turkeylands Quarry and Island Aggregates applications for 'recycling' the ash from the incinerator and having a landfill for national emergencies such as an oil spill or Foot and Mouth outbreak. Does anybody know what stage this has reached ?
Ringwraith
The Archallagan land RISE (4 stories high not a big hole in the ground) inspectors report has been prepared, but has not been considered by CoMin because 7 Ministers are conflicted. Now they have to find 3 MHK's to take the conflicted Ministers places, which will apparently be done asap according to the recovering CM.
Pat Ayres
Can we wait much longer for a truly independant decision?
Moghrey Mie
Can we wait much longer for a truly independant decision? I thought that was idea behind having an independent report by somebody from the UK. Presumably the Council of Ministers didn't like the end result. Otherwise they would be shouting from the rooftops 'We were right about needing Archallaghan!'
