%age
Researching the features of Douglas promenade and writing a script for the tram drivers/ attendants would be a nice summer project for a student. It would, but would need to be more than "This is Jaks, the happy hours are like dead good and then there is Quids Inn where you can get off your trolley for tenner." Albert Tatlock
Researching the features of Douglas promenade and writing a script for the tram drivers/ attendants would be a nice summer project for a student. In Australia and New Zealand they call coach drivers 'coach captains' because they are trained to do much more that just drive tourists round. They tell you all the local history etc. Maybe we could have horse tram captains. 'Apartment, apartment, crap driver, crap driver, crap driver, apartment... ...ooh hotel! Apartment, apartment, crap driver...'.

Do you not mean, people used to buy-to-let them, or people used to use them as a postal address for claiming Manx residency?
Moghrey Mie
people used to live there before the great 2009 crash'. Do you not mean, people used to buy-to-let them, or people used to use them as a postal address for claiming Manx residency? Does anybody check whether people who give Manx addresses actually live here? Do you have to register to say you intend living here?
