Mr. Dan O'Dara building a scyscraper in the car park etc.?
Dusty
Hopefully not. It's a brewery pub with someone running it for them. Unfortunately it seems his company has gone to the wall. Guess it means the brewery finding others to run it for them. Was closed last Xmas too with similar problems.

Gordon, who had the lease hasn't gone bust but the pub was running at a loss so he closed it. There is going to be a lot more of this in the next few months, at least one non-H&B pub in Ramsey is sailing very close to the wind and is relying on a record breaking Christmas in order to stay in business. Minxie
Not Only The Jurby Hotel Has the Jurby hotel closed? I'm sort of surprised it was open for as long as it wasn't the busiest of areas, but would have thought with the new prison that it might have had a bit more trade so shame it's closed now. When Skies Are Grey
Does anyone know if this would ever be put up for sale or would the Brewery always look to maintain the freehold?
GD4ELI
Does anyone know if this would ever be put up for sale or would the Brewery always look to maintain the freehold? Ex expect it would be sold with a covenant preventing future use as a pub or 'hotel'.
