TerryMcCann
This is at least a week old. What the fuck do the BBC 'journalists' based on the Island actually do? If I bothered to pay my licence fee I would be angry about it being wasted on shite like this
bluemonday
Was going to say the same Terry but you beat me to it. http://www.manxforums.com/forums/index.php...t=0&start=0 Usual cutting edge BBC

bluemonday
A. On a very well thought out, carefully budgeted idea that will benefit Douglas, the IOM and ultimately all of mankind or B. Down the drain
John
I agree this was from the last Council Meeting and that was a week last Wednesday. I would hopefully opt for A.....

cheeky boy
I am sure I will stand corrected but, since the 1970s the corpy have lost: Port Soderick Marine Drive Summerland & Derby Castle baths Douglas Corporation transport (yellow buses) Pulrose power station all roads streets & lanes in Douglas The Villa Marina They also gave the bin depot at Lake road, which they owned, to Dandara then leased a new one from Dandara at Braddan. Yet my rates continue to rise year after year We should put an end to this expensive farce and hand over the Horse Trams to MNH, the housing stock to local government and the parks & gardens to DAFF. The Bins could be taken over by IOM Transport or sold to Magees Then perhaps we could just pay one set of rates to central government and all the ex councillors could meet every week in the Salvation Army hall down the road and bugger about at their own expense instead of ours

Albert Tatlock
20K - two thirds of a fibre glass seagull, or one third of a fancy arsed fibre glass seat, or 0.02 feet of the 'rejuvenation' and pedestrianisation of Douglas Quay, or one dog shoite/smoke policeman. Coincidentally, 20K is also the RAM-brain- equivalent of a typical councillor. This post is brought to you today by the Letter 'Y' and the number '0'.
