Albert Tatlock
Nothing new. Smoke, and buckets of smelly herring are common tactics used every year to hide Peel and keep people away from there - so not to scare the remaining visitors we get. Stavros
Also, how the hell did newsbot get the news here first, come on folks, look lively. I went through Ballasalla last night and saw the big plume of smoke, blue lights and flames etc. I had completely forgotten about it by the time I got home. It's actually to keep the Douglas riff-raff away from the best parties. G
cabbyl ushtey
According to Heritage Homes it was an accident. It seems to be an occupational hazard on building and industrial sites these days. There was a big black plume within a few hundred yards of my house this morning. I believe there will be new legislation brought in in the new year to stop these unfortunate accidents.
