GeoffB Posted December 26, 2008 Share Posted December 26, 2008 Used to be a CSS one belonging to the clan [Manx] and my friend ran some Gmod servers at one point, mainly RP though. Me and my clan had a full dedicated Linux box (CentOS) and we installed some game server software onto it. We had a TF2 server on it, an Empires mod server, CSS server, Transport Tycoon Deluxe game and I believe we had a web server and were trying to get an (emulated) Gmod server up, all lag free when full and hosted in the UK. Not bad as it cost £30 a month or there abouts for as many games as you have dedicated server software for and you need the knowledge to install stuff to Linux via commands (no-GUI) basically. One or two servers OK but any more and server rates will suffer I dunno, Our empires server was pretty much 64/64 at all times, it was #1 in popularity on the server browser for a while.
