mollag
Just spotted the denials from the Milk Wallahs re the product going off. We had several bottles went off prematurely over the Holls, we then bought less. more often and put it down to thunder, nasty spirits and failing to say hello to the Faeries. Anyone else experience the sour?
immortalpuppet
As other have posted, i dont buy milk from shoprite anymore because it goes off either that day or the next even though the best before is a few days away. I cant say i have noticed it from anywhere else although I only tend to buy from the local shop or swipe it from work now.

My brother in law used to get me a couple of bottles whenever he was down south and the milk was fecking great.

Similar sort of thing bought 2 pints semi-skinned over Crimbo new year both were more like wallpaper paste than milk!
keyboarder
I buy milk from Shoprite and I haven't noticed an accelerated degradation. But then I tend to store it in my fridge, which functions correctly.
immortalpuppet
I did think it was my fridge for a while, thats when i started buying milk from other places and they were fine. I even went back to shoprite thinking it was a weather thing but the milk was just the same as before.
Mission
I get mine from both Co-Op stores in Ramsey for home use and from the big Pickwicks for work use - never had a problem with it to date tbh (semi-skimmed milk).

macmannin
Walker brothers dont bottle their milk anymore.I reckon with the single farm payment now in place plenty more small acre farms who have a dairy herd will give in this year.
