A 26-year-old man is charged with possessing indecent images of children on the Isle of Man.

Should that have read 'A 26 year-old man on the Isle of Man is charged with possessing indecent images of children'?

No, it should have read, "A 26 year old man in the Isle of Man is charged with possessing indecent images of children".

We do not live on the Isle of Man; we live in the Isle of Man.

If you are going to try and correct news items, at least try and do it properly.

Seems to make more sense to say 'on' rather than 'in', although I recognise what the convention is.

Just ignore "Port Erin". He's not worth the proverbial carrot ...

People don't live on Scotland - 'Isle of Man' here refers to a state thus we live in the Isle of Man (this extended by convention to live in the Island though I guess here it should be on the Island)

In any event, always assuming there is a conviction after due process, cut off their nasty little goolies.

People that go in for child porn are vermin and should be treated as such.

No demand, no market. Little kiddies have no say in the matter and are not consenting adults.

I don't think current legislation allows that.
